WOW. Unbelievable.
You know, I kinda figured it was most or less the first time I had met a target that was set.
Beautiful performance by Autofocus. We were up against Home Utd last Sunday. Knowing that they were an unbeatable team, (Com'on, don't tell me about the "how can you admit defeat when you haven't even started??" thingy. Their centres were at least 1.8m tall, they have 4/5 of the team made up of national players, and even their coach played.) we set realistic targets for ourselves. The first was to stop them from scoring more than 90pts(FYI:They trashed every team scoring more than 100pts, and the team we lost to, Elite Sports, allowed them to score over 90pts too). The second was to be the highest scoring team among all who played with them.
Everyone really played until "tor hui* (vomit blood). The game was fully fast paced. There weren't chances of slowing down. As usual, they used full court press on us. BUT!!! Despite all the lack of stamina/lack of height/lack of speed, Ah Bird, Kiaboon and I managed to put it some 3pointers, in their face!!! (Some really smelly ones though xD) Thanks to the training I had on Wednesday where I practised some centre moves( Bullsh*t =x), I managed to put in some of the underbaskets and made some lay up!!! WOOHOO~~~
Seriously, this was our happiest game. Thank God for blessing us with all the shots and the strength,the manpower and the coach with wisdom, and most importantly, I think God has really shown me what is playing the game of basketball:):)
