I'm amazed at the way I had shopped yesterday. 3 more days to CNY and I haven't gotten any single thing to wear for it. Yesterday was my full off-day. No work at all. So, because I got PS-ed by Tricia(LOL!!! poor Tricia getting suan-ed by me=X) and Rachael couldn't make it, Heeday and I went on our own.
Lots of amazing things happened. I didn't know it was the first time Heeday's making her way into JB via public transport. LOL!! Looks like she hadn't been to the Woodlands checkpoint for really long. She looked so blur, beginning from where we boarded our 170, to checking in via the autogates. Hurr... Oh, and I took the chance to tell her about what Tricia did when we came the other time round. HAHAHA...
Stopped by F.O.S and she started buying first. Mind you, I was the one who needed to shop for my CNY. Haha... So many tasty CNY goodies for tasting in the ground floor. I actually suggested to Heeday that she stock up her house with the CNY goodies so that we can go to her place for visiting. LOL.
I managed to get everything I needed, from top to toe. We had lunch at Vivo - American Pizza and Parnini. Ate again for dinner at a mini HK cafe. Approximately RM12 for a thick toast, a tall cup of Yin Yang and fried ice-cream!!! How cool is that!!!
More food after that - Malaysia's XXL chicken chop, dorayaki and yummy and exquisititely flavoured bao!!! I tell you, we really had much food.
In total, I bought a top, a nice pair of shorts, a new pair of quirky shoes in replacement of my long-searched loafers(!!!!!!), a nice sweet pair of slippers, 2 packets of muruku, 1/2kg of prawn roll for Mummy and a top requested by John Chew. You'll be shocked at how much in total I'd spent for that day. Inclusive of my meals, I spent......*drumroll*.........
RM300!!!!!
Do your own calculation and you will know how much it is in SGD. Exchange rate is SGD$1=RM2.36.
That is why I kept saying, City Square is my new Orchard Road:):)
Shopping spree or a simple and quick meal in JB, anyone????
