FINALLY. 5:37 PM
Okay. I'm finally back. Krist is sick. She's staying home. She's done with uploading for facebook, blah blah blah. Therefore she has the time to BLOG:):)
Wow. Lots of tracing back time to do. Something interesting happened
almost every single day after A levels!!!
5th Dec 2008Today's exciting too!!! Why? Because Krist is finally updating her blog!!! HAHA. Yes yes, this is THE happening of the day. What else do you expect, when I'm having a running nose, cough and sore throat??
4th Dec 2008Went for SuperMassive 1.0 @ Old School. (I didn't know that the bands that were playing last night were so high-profile. Blame me for not being into Singapore's ROCK/METAL/whichever-you-call-it music scene.) Was there alone, because others had some urgent issues. Thank God for Nigel, whom I walked in with. Some of the bands were really good, like Class Act. The vocalist was POOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWER!!! My legs and knees were nearly gone as I waited for Jason's band to play. Secular songs proved to be more popular. And WHOA. He IS good. Left after his performance.
3rd Dec 2008Played a game that night even though I was feeling real bad. Coughing like some old granny. But, PRAISE GOD!!! I too, was surprised that I still had the strength to run around, fool around. Close battle fought, and we won by 4 or 5 points only. Oh well, good enough. Good enough.
2nd Dec 2008Hangover Day!!! Nah, I didn't drink that night. Well, only a sip of Gabriel's Hoegarden, and a sip of Hui Ling's lime vodka. But, com'on!!! A few sip that didn't even add up to 1/4 of a glass man. I was just totally tired. Knocked out. So... I did nothing much that day but slept. Started to cough real badly. No fever. Good, good.
1st Dec 2008TO MY DISMAY, I DISCOVERED THAT, ACJC HELD PROM AT FULLERTON TOO!!! -.-WELL, I was out since 10am.
1st stop: Tricia's place. Borrowed her silver clutch and bling bling bangles and earrings:)
2nd stop: Vivocity. Supposed to just drop by Jurong Point or IMM. But playful me, went to take a quick bus ride to Vivo. Went to forever21 to look for accessories. Now that I mentioned it, I didn't finish shopping for prom until that day itself =X TSK TSK. Saw some nice rings. But then, spending ten over bucks on accessories that didn't really matter wasn't my style. So I decided not to buy. HAPPENED to walk pass the bargain corner, AND GUESS WHAT?! I saw this little, simple yet classy bubble dress on sale. 25bucks. My size. Something that I would have worn. ?!@*%$!! I almost bought it, but it was just a WANT. Hurried off to BYSI to get my ideal belt (that was the ONLY ideal belt I saw for the past 2 weeks that I was shopping). BYSI@VIVO didn't have it!!! (I saw it at JP.)
3rd stop: You've guessed it. JP. GOSH. I was running around the WHOLE day. Thankfully, the JP outlet still had that belt. THE LAST PIECE. IT WAS MEANT FOR ME. Muahaha~
Back home: Deena (that's my brother's girlfriend), came over to help me with the make-up. So thankful for that!!!:):) Saved me another lump sum. Hurr. I didn't have the chance to look myself in the mirror until she was done with everything. Bronzer, shimmering lip gloss, smokey eyes... OMG. That was MY reaction in the mirror. Like I had said to her previously, 'Who's that in the mirror man?!?!'
Thank you, TAN MENG YIK, for sending us to Fullerton. He managed to get a car:):) But the car ride was LOOOOOOOOOOOONG. Too many wrong turns. And lesson learnt: Don't trust a street directory. Go google anything that you don't know. I was getting all anxious, 'cause I was holding the tickets for the class. And bad news just had to pile up - I forgot the battery in my camera!!! So I ended up with a CAMERA that couldn't function. Ugh. Luckily, (well, I guess it's a blessing in disguise.) Sharon took slightly longer to do her hair and make-up, so she was still in CCK. Had my brother to pass her my battery=D
Saw so many people whom I had never seen before, or I didn't recognise. HAHA. Prom was okay. I think it's just the dressing up and camwhoring part that was fun. Food wasn't like AWESOME. Servings were SOOOOOO tiny. (Mind you, Krist is complaining about food portions...) Rightfully, the prom queen was Monique, the king Chin Meng (okay lah, he was still not too bad).
No no, I didn't go for post-prom at Arena. I'm nice girl. Went to Crazy Elephants with Gabriel and gang, the study buddies (Rachael, Clarissa, Sharon, Ruhan, Ian, Brandon) and Mr. Timo (who knows my darkest secrets even though that was the first day I met him!!!). The guys drank, some of the ladies drank. I drank too - Peel Fresh Mango Juice, which gave me a super bad sorethroat after that, I think. Pubs were preparing to close for the night, so we went for supper at SOMEWHERE, near Jazz@South Bridge. Brandon (HONEY), Gabriel, Ben and friend rotted around City Hall and waited for the dawn to break. So we made our way home respectively at around 6am in the morning.
The morning ended well with the FRIEND having a little tiny weeny caterpillar stuck to his jeans. HAHA. It was totally hilarious!!! The way he reacted to it and how he struggled to get it off... I was too tired to video the process down. LOL.
Saw Sharlyn, Bao Xiang, Constance on the bus home. Andrew knocked out at the back of the bus. He missed his stop too. OOPS!!!
Okay, that's all for December now. Shall update with more happenings in November!! Yawns~
(No photos will be posted here. All are up at Facebook...)
